WORLD’S GREATEST HOLY SCRIPTURES – Can the knowledge gathered from them is helpful in finding the truth?

No, because the knowledge is not yours. It is borrowed. And can you borrow truth? Truth is untransferable
...nobody can give it to you. However known and alive a person is will not be able to transmit it to you. You can learn, but it cannot be taught. Scriptures can never be alive, however holy they may be. They must have come from some original source...but now they are only words. They are only words about truth, information about truth.

To be with Mohammedan Rasullulah..in deep harmony, allowing his being to stir and move your heart...is one thing. And just to read Koran is like seeking information about God and planning your journey to heaven. It can never be your truth...but a mere reflection...like a full moon reflected in the lake. If you jump into the lake you are not going to get the moon...in fact – if you jump into the lake even the reflection will disappear. Scriptures are only mirrors reflecting faraway truths. Same goes with the experiences of Gautam Buddha, Mahavira, Jesus. Those were their own experiences.
Now these scriptures are thousands of years old ...much dust has gathered on the mirror, many interpretations ...that is what I mean by dust. Now you cannot know exactly what all these scriptures say...you know only the commentators...the interpreters...and they are thousands. There is a thick wall of commentaries and preaching ...day in and day out...and it is impossible to just put it aside. So you can never be able to know truth...and not only that, you will know commentaries and various interpretations of people who have not experienced at all.

In fact I would say...the priests, the Godmen have completely destroyed the sacredness of the holy scriptures to different interpretations. They have contorted the experiences of Mohammedan Rasullulah, Jesus, Gautam Buddha and few others. These people had dived deep into their own being in search of God and each was all alone...you can’t go into self with a group on a journey to seek truth. Religion and religiousness is subjective and not objective. Godmen have made it objective. And they are the greatest sinners as they themselves have not experienced it and neither do they allow the masses to dwell within as an individual, as a seeker of his own Godliness.

Knowledge is imparted for other purposes. Yes, there is a possibility of imparting knowledge about the world because the world is outside you...it is objective. Science is knowledge...but religion is not knowledge. Religion is experience...and why do I keep it repeating again and again is for the simple reason that its whole concern is your inside...your subjectivity...which is available only to you and to nobody else. You cannot invite your near and dear into your inner being. There you are utterly and completely alone...and there resides the truth.

Knowledge from the scriptures can never be helpful in finding the truth...can never be able to guide you into your own religiousness for the simple reason that if you accumulate knowledge you will be starting to believe in conclusions. You will already conclude what truth is without knowing it, and your conclusion will become the greatest hindrance. My experience is truth has to be approached in utter nudity...purity...in complete silence...without any conclusion...without any preconceived notions...keeping aside all the scriptures of the experiences of all the saints...without any burden on your shoulders...and then when you move inside your own self with complete silence leaving all the chaos outside...suddenly truth will be revealed. Truth is always there inside us but we always keep missing it because our search is always outside...and on the contrary it is your innermost core. So you don’t need to learn from somebody else...and these somebody else...they never let you go inside you because than it will be very dangerous for them. It will shake their very foundation of so called religious morality...there power will diminish and they will be wiped out. How can they let you seek truth...they simply cannot.

Drop all the conclusions – Mohammedan, Hindu, Christian and many others. Drop all the knowledge that has been forced on you. Every child has been poisoned...by knowledge...by parents...the society...the religion. Every child has been made to lose his innocence. And that’s why every child...slowly slowly...becomes so burdened that he loses all joy of life...and becomes just like the crowd...part of the crowd...a robot.

In fact, the moment a child is perfectly conditioned by you, you are very happy...you call it “religious education”...like my wife is when she sends my younger one to madrassa. You are very happy that the child has been initiated into the religion of his parents. All that you have done is you have destroyed his capacity to know on his own. You have destroyed his authenticity...his very innocence. You have closed his doors and windows. Now he will live an encapsulated existence. He will live in his inner darkness....surrounded by kinds of stupid theories, systems of thoughts, philosophies, ideologies. He will be lost in a jungle of words and he will not be able to come out of it easily.

Even if he starts to search within...some spark...even then it will take years for him to unlearn – because learning becomes almost your blood...your bones...your marrow. To go against your own knowledge seems to be going against yourself, against your tradition, against your religion, against society. It seems as if you are a traitor...as if you are betraying. And I would say...in fact your society has betrayed you, has contaminated your very soul.

Every society has been doing that up to now...and every society has been successfully doing it...and every society will keep doing it successfully till you are sleeping...till you are in deep slumber. It is so rare to escape from the traps the society puts all around the child. And the child is so unaware...he can easily be conditioned...completely hypnotized. And that’s what goes on and on in the temples, in the churches, in the mosques, in the schools and so on. They all serve the past...they don’t serve the future. They are all robot making factories. And they produce robots with a default setting.

I am all for learning, but learning means innocence, learning means openness, learning means receptivity. Learning means a non-egoistic approach toward reality. Knowledge means “I know already.” Learning means “I don’t know and I am ready...ready to know.”
